2nd - 7th Grade Classes builds on Montessori's "Exploratory Learning" Principles

The tokenistic approach to the learning of subjects in the conventional school system provides little or no scope for fulfilling the basic fundamental need of exploration and reasoning in children. Hence it becomes a laborious task for the children to learn the subjects, as the disappointing factor of non-comprehension is not all addressed. At Gardenia, this difficulty is completely understood and suitable alternatives of the Montessori Methods are practiced to overcome which in turn enhances the growth of the exploratory urge and advancement of the reasoning mind.

With the concepts of Great Lessons and the Key Lessons, the subjects are delivered in proper proportions that suits the reasoning mind with the basic element being the study of Cause and Effect. The concepts are then practiced with the corresponding exploratory process that provides the abstraction that is very comfortable for the child to understand.

The discovery of connections with various concepts across subjects is the most fruitful result of exploratory learning and all this is done by children themselves without the assistance of an adult. There are instances in which the exploratory learning through reasoning mind has excelled profoundly the thoughts of adult in the same category. With the exploratory learning and the reasoning mind acquired by children, make them complete authorities on the subjects and personalities with supreme self-confidence.
